This is by far the most simplest and
easiest home-made cookies ever. No complicated methods, no funny ingredients. All made from scratch!
This recipe will have your friends and family in awe and craving for more!
It's delicious, easy and simple and turns out perfect every single time!
Prep: 20 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Total: 30 minutes
Servings: 30 cookies
What Do We Need?
- measuring cups
- palette knife
- measuring spoons
- electric mixer
- rubber spatula
- cookie sheets/pans
- baking paper
- cookie scoop
- large size bowl
- medium size bowl
- whisk
- sifter
What Ingredients We Will Need:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tps baking soda
- 1 tps salt
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup room temperature butter
- 1 tps vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cup choc chips (or more)
How
do we make it?
Make sure to preheat your oven to 180 degrees C (326 degrees F) before baking!
1. Firstly, combine the dry ingredients together in a medium size bowl. When measuring the flour and other dry ingredients, pour it until it covers the surface of the cup and scrape off the access with a palette knife.
2. Next, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Make sure to take the butter out in advance so it is soft, or you can melt the butter on a stove or microwave for about 5 to 7 minutes.
3. Once it is well beaten, add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined. It’s best to add one egg at a time and mix.
4. Add
the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. During the mixing process it
will seem like it’s too dry or too rough to mix, but don’t worry, just keep
mixing until it turns into a nice light brown dough. Then add the choc chips!
Add the given amount or more. But make sure to mix the choc chips until evenly
distributed in the dough.
5. Once
the cookie dough is ready, you can portion it. You can use a cookie scoop or
your hands, either way works but using a cookie scoop, it ensures all the
cookies are uniform in size.
6. Next,
add your cookie onto a cookie sheet or cookie tray, placing them evenly spaced and
put it in the oven to bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until it starts
reaching brownish colour.
7. Take
out of the oven and let sit for 2 minutes.
This
cookie recipe is the best! It’s easy, simple, straightforward, doughy yet still
amazingly delicious! It’s savory taste will leave you craving for more!
- Granulated sugar/brown sugar: Use normal white sugar to replace both. it works the same and still delicious!
- Vanilla extract: This is optional to me. If you're wondering why, just know that its there for flavouring. Even without vanilla extract the cookies would still taste delicious due to the sugar added. I have worked without vanilla extract and it is still tasty.
- Baking powder: baking cookies without baking powder is fine. Nothing will change. And it's only there to help it rise a little. Sometimes a forget to add baking powder, so it's fine without using baking powder in this recipe.
